They say that a picture is worth a thousand words… I would like to share several thousand words with you then.

I love each and everyone of these people SO MUCH! They have quickly become a greater part of my heart. I am sold out on loving them without conditions! My heart just melts in anticipation of being with my friends every Saturday…. so much that I have been blessed to go out randomly throughout the week too.

This Friday, I will be taking three crockpots of soup to the Plaza. My mom gave me all the ingredients to do so. She said it delighted her. Wow! Go Mom! Haha!

Over the last few months, so much has happened. I will be posting a newsletter soon, but meanwhile, please enjoy these photos!

This is my birthday cake! One of my friends bought it and everyone sung happy birthday to me! Hahaha. It was AWESOME!

And they all signed a card for me! This is TRULY one of the most precious items I have today. It is priceless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hee Hee…. Just me being me! They love that I am not such a religous person and I like to have fun and kid around with them… all the time!

Christopher (L) LOVES going to the Plaza, too! Chad (R) had such a good time, too. Man oh man did they get discipled that day. Hello Folks, this is REAL life!

This is Hope! She is absolutely PRECIOUS! I am trying to get her off the streets. Please pray with me for her salvation and sobriety!

Markus stinkin’ CRACKS ME UP! He is hilarious! He is crippled in his legs but so fiesty as they come! He can’t run but if he does ever catch you… WATCH OUT! He will cuss you out in a New York minute and then turn to me and say I’m sorry! HAHAHA!

Mr. Roy! All I can say is SWEET SWEET SWEET! Two people have actually given me money as a donation, and he is one of them. I try NOT to take it but he said, “Please. It would make my heart happy.” Sooo…. I took it. Who am I to say no to someone investing in the Kingdom!

This is Cowboy. He is pretty talented and amazing! In about 60 seconds flat, he can make flowers, crosses, and other nicknacks out of bamboo. I love that he gave me a cross. He, too, is one (the other one) who has given me a donation for the food.

MR. CHARLIE!!! Sooooo SWEET! Looooves biscuits. Loves to sing too. He is about 7 feet tall, for real. He gives some of the best hugs I’ve ever had!!

John! John! John! He has been to EVERY breakfast we have every had. Never ever asks for anything – NEVER! Just wants a friend. The other day, he had holes in his shoes, so I took him to Walmart to get him new ones. So much fun!

Meet Laura —- so nice. so trapped. please pray.
We don’t have many women at the Plaza. It is such a delight to have her around… though I would give anything to see her off the streets!

I completely understand that it is boggling as to why people are on the streets. Heck, I shake my head at it even, and I lived there for EIGHT YEARS! Here’s the deal though, whether it is their choice or not, JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR THEM just like He did for YOU! And, just as beautiful as the flowers and grass, which fade away, in this background are, so is the soul and heart of the man sleeping on the ground…. and the souls and hearts of the people down at the Gainesville Plaza!

All of the people in the above pictures have names, and I know them all; in fact, I know 95% of the names (80 people last week) at the Plaza. They know my name, too. And GOD has ALL of our names written in the palm of His hand.

Please don’t just treat them as projects or spectacles. Please don’t point the finger at them and decide with no knowledge their lives. They have hearts and names and feelings and emotions and stories and pains and fears AND a Savior who loves them very much. I mean afterall, He did create them in HIS image. Right?

If He can do it for me… HE CAN DO IT FOR THEM!

My life is not my own!
