Hello Everyone!

I am fighting in my mind with words to write as a blog... not really concerned about that right now!

My heart is breaking.... Just like yours! Haiti is devastated, and I am so desperately trying to get there. I cannot sit here when I know I can be of use there!

I'm scared; I'm nervous; I'm crazy; I'm even petrified; BUT, I'm going! I know how to SERVE; I know how to LOVE; I know how to GIVE of myself. I think that is all GOD requires of me... to be willing!!!

This Thursday, a team from AIM and I will be leaving to go into Haiti. We have missionaries on the ground right now. We will be coming alongside of them to help set up relief of all types, sizes, and lengths. I will have more information on this very soon!!!! You, too, can come! Haiti needs YOU!

As for me now, though, I need your help in different ways:

1. FINANCIAL SUPPORT! I have immediate expenses (i.e. ticket, food, supplies) I do not know exactly how long I will be there. Your donations are 100% tax deductible. Just click on the "support me" link on the left of this page. Don't hesitate! EVERY TEN DOLLARS MATTERS!

2. PRAYER COVERAGE! For years, I worked in an intensive care unit where I watched an average of three children die weekly from disease and trauma; I have lived on the streets and dug in garbage cans for food; I have been in complete havoc and chaos in so many different ways, but NEVER have I ever encountered what I am stepping into now! I honestly do not know what to expect.

3. SUPPLIES! If you know of anything I need to take and want to supply me with that need, call me at 502-758-2560 and I will come to you to pick it up!

I know what you know.... from watching the tv... just like you. I want to report back to you the names of those faces you see on the news! I want to tell you that Jesus embraced them in His/my arms and cried with them... yet gave them hope! I want to give them water because they are thirsty.

I want to personalize this experience for all of us! Watching the news is not enough!
